best place we have ever stayed for our honeymoon

“Gaia is hands down the best place we have ever stayed, with the BEST customer service. We visited on our honeymoon and right from the beginning the staff couldn’t have been more attentive- we were met at the airport, given cold beer and water in our own Gaia bottles, and had a comfortable drive to the lodge where we were greeted with cocktails and cold towels by Kobi and Freddy who couldn’t have done enough for us the whole stay.  The views from the lodge are breathtaking, every meal feels so private and romantic, and the staff learn your name instantly, making it feel so personal. Freddy, Lucy and Darren were fantastic (and Lucy even wrote down the recipe of my favourite cocktail for me!).

The food is TO DIE for, all the guests were raving about it. Calbert took us out for two amazing tours to Barton creek and zip lining, then to the Mayan ruins. He was fantastic in answering all of our questions and making our days out amazing! The sites were quiet and felt very private, and we had private lunches at the picnic sites. The rooms at Gaia are gorgeous, we had an amazing view of the forest and coffee brought to our private balcony every morning. There are bugs but the re is bug spray provided and it’s all part of being in the jungle!! We would also highly recommend the morning nature walk which we loved. We were very sad to leave- thank you all for making our honeymoon so memorable!”
